Celler Jaume de Puntiró
Jaume de Puntiró, vinyes i vins was founded in 1980 by Jaume Calafat Nadal. It is currently run by his sons Pere and Bernat Calafat Vich, with quality wines made by hand from organically grown vines. It belongs to the Binissalem Mallorca Denomination of Origin.
Pere Calafat has been a master craftsman since the mid-1990s. The winery, located in Plaça Nova de Santa Maria del Camí, has won a considerable number of awards and recognitions. It is also worth noting the frequent collaborations with artists for the design of its labels.
The winery also has a shop where they sell local organic products as well as their wine. At the same time, guided tours of the winery and vineyard are offered. The experience can be accompanied by a wine tasting, a snack of Mallorcan products or training courses, among others.

The pine bud that can be seen on the façade of the winery is the sign of the beginning of the marketing of the young wine: at the end of November, a pine branch is placed on the lintel of the door to indicate the marketing of the new young wine. This age-old tradition throughout the Mediterranean basin (Ramus pini, Signum vini) is preserved only in Santa Maria del Camí.
Nowadays and since 2002, the young wine festival has been held in Santa Maria del Camí at the end of November.
